1. How to add users to your Friends List
Click on the username of the person who you wish to add to your Friend List. Usernames can be found in various places around the Spotliet website. These places include: Directly under each video display screen, Within the information displayed on Featured Videos located on the home page, Video comments and Forum treads. Once a username is clicked, you will be presented with that users profile. Click on the 'Add As Friend' button and a request will be sent. Once this user accepts your request, they will automatically appear on your Friends Listlocated in 'My Videos'.

2. Live Chat
• You can only use the live chat between people on your Friends list.
• By clicking on the red 'Live Chat Now' button you can 'roll up' or 'roll down' the chat box.
• If you have the chat box rolled up and someone starts a chat session the red 'Live Chat Now' button will turn orange promting you to click and start the chat session.
• Usernames will appear at the bottom of the chat box.
• When a username is 'red' that user is on hold.
• When a username is 'green' that user is activated to chat.
• When a username is 'clear' that user is inactive.
• You may click the username to toggle between these options.
• To appear offline so you are not contacted, you can click the 'Appear Offline' Checkbox at the top of the chat box.
